Welcome to George Mather Forbes School No. 4! As your Principal, it is a unique honor to lead a school that holds such a significant place in my heart. My journey in education began right here in these hallways as a young student in the Rochester City School District. Today, I am privileged to have come full circle and work to ensure that every child who sits in our classrooms has the same—and better—opportunities to succeed.

At School No. 4, we operate under a simple but powerful mantra: Dream, Believe, Execute for Results. We provide a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to develop their individual talents. We believe that with the right support from staff, parents, and the community, failure is not an option.

We maintain high expectations for all students, including our robust special education programs and early learning initiatives. We are committed to a well-rounded education that values both academic rigor and character development. 

Community & Partnership 

We know that it takes a village to raise a citizen. We are proud of our strong partnerships with organizations like the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and the Kiwanis Club. Whether it’s through our Project STRIDE program or our active PTO events, we invite every family to be an active participant in their child’s educational journey. 

I always tell our students: "One day, you may be sitting where I am... because I used to sit where you are now." Together, let’s work to make those dreams a reality.
