School-Based Planning Team (SBPT)

The School-Based Planning Team (SBPT) is one of the Rochester City School District's strategies for achieving academic excellence. It brings together the principal, administrators, teachers, staff, and parents to work collaboratively in support of student achievement and continuous school improvement.

The SBPT is responsible for:

• Developing the School Comprehensive Educational Plan (SCEP)

• Monitoring the implementation of the SCEP

• Reviewing and interpreting student achievement data

• Supporting professional development aligned to the goals of the SCEP

The School-Based Planning Team values the voices of families and staff. Through collaboration and shared decision-making, the team helps ensure that School 4 continues to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
